Practices Will Resume August 24, 2026!!
Who We Are
Club Running at Pitt is the one and only place for runners from all walks of life to come together and do what they do best: run! Established in 2012 by a few runners looking to restart their running careers in a fun yet competitive atmosphere, this student-led club has quickly grown to over 150 members. Whether you are a former D1 athlete or a first-time runner, Club Running at Pitt has a place for you. We hold practices 5 days a week, but they are all optional meaning what you get out of our club is entirely dependent on what you put in. We typically compete in 10 meets over the course of the year including 5 Cross Country meets in the fall and 5 track meets in the spring. We also encourage team bonding outside of running and hold various social events throughout the year including a scavenger hunt, trivia night, and even a semesterly formal. We encourage all runners of all shapes in sizes to come out and give us a try, because at the end of the day our club is focused on one thing: making running fun!
